"Side-piece" vs. "Jump-off"

As a  big time civil attorney, Mr. D. Phillips usually has all of the answers...but not this time!! He has an important question and he has decided to query the Singles to get his answers...."What is the difference between being a side-piece and a jump-off," he disposed of Single Friends.
The responses will shock you...I think a few of the members have taken Side-piece 101 and Jump-off 202.
A side-piece is always there for you, thinking she has a chance to be the main one. A jump-off is a booty call. She knows her role- A.Walton......
Why Thanks Abena W. Now that's a girl who has paid attention in 101 and 202. She gets an A.

Doug B., who always wakes up during the last part of the lesson, missed everything that the professor said. According to him, the answer was right there in the playa handbook on page 42, 2nd paragraph.
He quoted that the side-piece gets fries and a drink, maybe even a super-size. Jump-off gets whatever is free in the coupon book.....Hmmmm...I don't think I'm gonna copy his answer, part of it seems wrong. I gotta check that part about the Super-size.

Keyshia S. had a lengthier explanation...Summed up...she says that the side-line knows her role, but sometimes becomes delusional, thinking that one day if she is patient, she can become the main boss chic. She only gets to text on special occasions; and the Jump-off is there for S_x only, when the side-line or main girl is not available......"I cleaned it up for my viewers."

Mia M. says that you actually like the side-piece, the jump-off...you just want to screw.

I think I agree a little more with Mia, because I have witnessed side-pieces getting a little more than a burger and some fries. Sometimes they make out VERY well.
"Alright D.P. You got it now?"
Everyone's here to teach and learn. Got a question and your side-piece ripped out page 42 of that handbook...email deemillers@yahoo.com   I can get you enrolled in the class!!

  1. You are correct in your assessment , DMiller, there are some side pieces that exceed their "pay grade" in benefits. However, the statement here that applies is rules are meant to be broken. The variable in this equation is emotion or how the benefactor feels about his side piece. Some "employers" may be a bit more generous than others. But the rule clearly states, it should be implicit that the side piece and jumpoff understand that neither is deserving of any benefit, remuneration or special treatment. She is to understand that she is not the main character and can be fired without cause. However, to maintain consistency, continuity and the interest of time, the side piece should receive a nominal reward on occasion to differentiate her position in the pecking order. Manlaw pg. 42 , paragraphs 2 and 3.
I hope the fellas forgive me for giving away a lil bit of the code...my b !!!!
